Ok now I'm dying to see this finished. I got the email saying there was another post to here and thought 'Yes its finally done!!!' but it was just another tease. Can't wait to see it all finished up.
Bruce,
Take a look at the number of views on this thread. It's absolutely incredible. Without turning this into the mutual admiration society, I have to say that I know of "no greater tribute to an artist than the constant desire to see his work again and again".
Nothing else to say................
Steve
Bruce, this is really a cool project! I wish I could check it out personally, but won't be going to OKCA. You and Ken are a good match for your projects.
Thanks for taking the time to photograph and write up the saga. You are an inspiration!
In fact I just started on something that you have inspired. (I will post it at some point.)
The guest room is still ready anytime you would like a place to stay.
Thanks again.
Alden
MY GOODNESS BRUCE, that is absolutely beautiful! It is crazy that you made that from scratch. You have some crazy mad skill. I have said it before and I will say it again, YOU ARE THE MAN!! It is good to have someone like you to up to & have a little hope that maybe one day I might have 1/2 of you r skill.
Bruce,
You just solved my problems, I've been using the wrong tools all along. I only have a rusty butterknife and a pair of my grannies broken toenail clippers.
I gotta get to Harbor Freight!!!
Steve
I think my punctuation was incorrect, because the clippers were used for HER broken toenails. You see dear ol' grannie made homemade peanut butter by stomping on them with her bare feet and as she got up in years the poor dears nails became brittle and would sometimes break during the peanut stomping process. This, of course, forced her to change the labels to "CHUNKY STYLE".
She was eventually forced out of business by the great toe jam epidemic of '42.
It's a sad story, really.
Hi Bruce.
Is this set going to be professionally photographed?
