I like versatility. Yesterday I posted a CPM154 slipjoint. Today I'm posting a hidden tang skinner forged from a 1958 Ford leaf spring. Both are sole authorship.
This knife started it's life as a part of a '58 Ford. I forged it to shape in my forge and then did the heat treat in my kiln. The guard is brass, with black micarta and brass spacers. The contoured handle is cocobolo that I purchased from the widow of a knifemaker. Enjoy the pics. One legitimate question though: does the guard stick down too far? Might shorten it up a bit based on feedback.
