I make something for the local VFD in the spring of the year.

I'm working on a carving set this spring.

W2 steel with stainless, maple and sea cow rib bone.

They put on a festival in June to raise money for equipment. Its fun for the whole community.

Those look great Fred,
Are you going to add in a Fork to the slicer/Carving knife?

The term carving set was poorly chosen but for the life of me I could not think of anything better. The three blades will come in a maple block, that sits on the kitchen counter and the set will be used for food preparation. Maybe food prep set. I'm not real good with naming things.

Fred,
Just a suggestion.
Call it a Culinary knife set. that leaves out the fork from old school terminology & sounds a bit tastier than kitchen.
Just trying to help.
