A couple I have in the works. My first hamon and a mid sized acid etched stonewashed. Both with stabilized boxelder burl handles. Still need to sharpen and finish sheaths.

Shop time has been limited so far this year to say the least.
Here is finished knife #3 this year.
1080, tapered tang with SS pins and quite possibly the coolest Osage Orange scales I've seen.

Thanks Fred. It's a pretty exquisite piece of curly maple, stained black. It looks even better in person.

Had to take a break from knives for a bit to not screw any up. Felt frazzled and irkt so I built an upcycled cooler.

Now was asked to make a replica of a close friends dads hunting knife his dad made at 19.

Nostalgia a planer blade and antler handle.

Walt, your designs are getting so much better with each knife. One suggestion that I think would be a breakthrough, as well as making your life a whole lot easier: a file guide. I know the ready made file guides are expensive, but there's a super cheap work-around. A set of 1-2-3 blocks and a couple of bolts. Not nearly as sexy- heavy and a little cumbersome to use at times, but for $15 it will work wonderfully. You can use it as a guide to keep your plunges clean as well as getting those shoulders just right so that you don't have to file and refile the angles on your blade and handle 1000 times to get rid of any gaps and non-matching angles.

Thanks John, that is on the list of things to add after I move next month. The damage of a fading plunge line is why I took a break. I was rushing to do things and screwed up two plunge lines on two seperate knives

I pulled the trigger on another purchase the other day that was loooong overdue. Got me a small wheel attachment and 3 small wheels.

Only 20 days until we move out of the duplex into the new house! I'm so ready to have my shop back!!
