WIP Bowie knife

Cut the copper pins about 1/8 inch long on each side of the guard.

I hope you can see the copper inserts. I just used my phone to take the pictures. I chose copper for a reason. Should become clearer when I build the sheath.

This task is not all that hard. But it is time consuming. First chuck your dremel cutoff tool into your drill press. Set the depth to hit approximately in the middle of the guard. I set it on a 123 block. Easier to spin all the way around the guard. Does not have to be all that deep. Just a consistent mark all the way around.

I am using my handy little speedy vise, sitting at the kitchen table, watching some baseball on television. We shall see how much I can get accomplished tonight. Hopefully most of it. I start on the rounded ends.
