Would anyone be willing to share how they assemble these multipiece knife scales?

I've seen many variations on this type of layout and I really like them.

Could a link be posted to a tutorial on how to do these types of layouts?

Id love to see a WIP on this as well. Really love the scale combinations some of you guys are coming up with!

A brief guess is that it's sawn and the pieces glued together as a block. The block is then trimmed, then cut in half.

I love pictures though and would like to see some step by step processes.

You can glue and cut ahead of time like you have mentioned or epoxy, pin, and assemble on the tang.

I cut pieces and then trim the pieces on a disk grinder with a miter on it. I dovetail the pieces at 30 degrees. You can do most any angle you wish. I am making some handles now and will try to post pictures in the next day or so.

the pen turning guys eat this kind of stuff for breakfast if you want to get a peek ahead in case someone can't get a WIP or tutorial up right away.

Everything needs to be very squared up well with sharp corners for sure. This is where a disc grinder will really shine.
