Well I think I am gona order some West System Resin from Boss Dog!!!! Any one have any pro or cons? I think I will have to go with the slow hardener with the humidity and heat I have here. Can any one fill me in on the the ratio of resin and hardener? I have been playing with Fiberglass resin and I just don't trust it to much with what I am trying to do with my Pine cone scales.

Thanks, Martin

I use the 105 epoxy resin and 206 hardener. You'll need to buy the pumps for the cans: 1 pump of each and you're good to go as it's pre-measured.

No complaints here. It's good stuff.

West system was formulated for boats and is commonly used on home built airplanes. It's pretty strong stuff. The slow resin is really slow - like slow slow. You might consider the regular hardener unless you have lots of time...

I personally love the West Systems GFlex. I use it in all of my knives now, and have never had even close to an issue with it holding.
