I was wondering if it could be used on antler and bone? I’ve done a search and found several threads pertaining to wood, but, nothing on bone and antler. They have numerous colors and would be quite interesting if it works. Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Would standard cutlery work? Could be found cheaply and cut to any tang length you choose.

I guess teak oil is a bad choice.

Has anyone on this forum used teak oil for their knife handles? If so, would you kindly explain your process? How durable is this finish? Can the knife handle be easily refreshed with a fresh coat of oil? Also, is there a preferable brand of oil such as Watco, etc., or is teak oil just teak oil...

I got some Aqua fortis and a heat gun and will try a sample piece first. I am going to google trans tint and would like to give that a try also. Again, thanks for taking the time to help. Bill
