    Farrier Tanto ?

    I annealed the entire rasp, cut it out and ground it then re heat treated it , I think its W1 because it would not harden in oil, quenched it in water and it hardened right up. This one was an OLD "superior brand" rasp, the Bellota rasps I have behaved like 1095 and would harden in oil.

    Amen, get the biggest one you can afford, you will quickly outgrow a mini mill, plus with the larger mill you can use full size tooling (vices, rotary tables, etc)

    GIB Dust Buster!!

    Well here it is, my Grinder in a box "in a box" dust evacuation set up, I, welded it up from 18 gauge steel and box tube, the cage fan really pulls some air, it seems to work great! All that fine dust is ejected before settling on my machine equipment.
