Also I am doing a lot of Titanium knives and I do use them for that Maybe it is the softer Ti that is getting into the web.

Hey, agreed with all, I did the G10 thing one day and it was not good. the rubber sanding belt is even worse. I used them until I see a kind of marred scratch pattern coming then toss them. I use a medium and fine 2x72 Scotchbrite belt a lot since I do mostly scratch finishes. Do you all have any ideas on cleaning them. They seem to get a build up in the webbing. I tried my rubber belt cleaner ( do not try it it will ruin the belt). Any ideas? washing it? these things are...

Just got an order in of VSM belts from Tru Grit. So far so good. They seem to track better than my regular Blaze and you cannot beat the price.

Do not grind off 1/4 of your left thumb with a 80 grit Blaze belt, for the third time in one year. Happy Thanksgiving yall

I use a champion carbide 1 inch hole cutter. I think I get them at wholsale tool they work great and last for about 50 holes or so.

Just got 3 small titanium kiridashis carbidized on one side. I am new to the titanium knife making so how sharp should the edge be? It was put on one side, it seems less sharp than it was before I sent it off to be car iodized. Please give me some insight on this. Thanks

I use harbor freight ceramic media and an old brass tumbler. I etch with ferric vinegar then spray it down with wd40 then let it tumble for about 2 to 3 hours pull it out and clean it up and fine steel wool it
