A day out on the Island

Went out to Port Isabel/ South Padre Island all day today to take the family out for a saturday at the Island. We did some site seeing and fished off the pier all day long. It was a beautiful day here. Temp was about 80 something when we got there. My sons caught about 15 of these mangrel or mangrove snappers. They great fish to eat. We will be frying them up tomorrow. The high pic was taken from the top of the light house. It was great to spend the day with the wife and kids, and a great time to end the Thanksgiving Holiday. I am so blessed.

It looks like the kids love to fish. What a pretty place to spend the day. I spent a couple years in Astoria Oregon when I was young. I miss the ocean and bay still.

Nice going, Frank! Sure looks like a great time had by all, and ended up with some great fish.
