I just got this one one back from the engraver ( Doug Sutherland ) I think he did a beautiful job on the engraving. I love it ! The scales are ivory which will later be scrimshawed. The steel is 1095, pins and bolster are 416 w/ 3/32 pins.

Thanks for looking.

Man, that is just plain good looking! Engraving compliments knife - the ivory really looks good. You did your usual GREAT job.

A beautiful knife, I love the look of ivory and the engrave bolsters. I may be a bit against the grain but I like the plain ivory, no scrimshaw work. Dan

Thanks again guys for the nice comments. I kinda agree to a point on NO SCRIMSHAW to a point , but this customer has many scrimshawd knives and the the purpose behind this project is just to have a taste of three different builders in one knife .. I guess its a " Personal Thing " that hes looking for .

On a second note ... Ive seen the the scrimshaw collection he has and its all so breathtaking .. amazing work ..

I think it'll look awesome when its done and Im happy to be a part of it .
Ill keep you guys posted.
