Crappie Cutter!

HHH Knives

Super Moderator
Heres a few pics of a Fillet knife I just finished.

Its O1 steel and has a OAL of aprox. 14 inches with a 9 inch blade
Stabilized Sycamore handle slabs with mosaic pins!!

The design is a combination of basic fillet knife, with a super comfortable handle and a thumb ramp.

Please give me some input.. Thanks and God Bless!!!!

nice design. I can tell you have cleaned a few of those. They are my favorite fish..

Tracy, I sure have. We really enjoy them as well! Especially through the ice! Man they are good!

I will dig up a pic of one of the great days we had last summer.

The first one is my youngest son and about 33 crappie we caught in a honey hole in Michigan! The second pic is a 21 inch largemouth caught same day by this lucky young fellow! Great times! Good eats, and awesome fishing! who could ask for more?

God bless!

Its time for a fish fry! Any takers?

I'm in... I'm a lousy fisherman but I do know how to eat! :D I'll bring the beverages if that helps ;)

Your fillet knife looks sweet. Do you have any tips on how to build a good one? Such as: how thin do you grind them, do you harden them differently than a hunter, so they're flexible, etc?

Boy ! you must have some giant crappie ! We used that size for halibut in Alaska. Nice looking fillet knife .
