Damascus Handle Slip Joint

Been a while, here's a cpm-154 blade and spring slip joint, along with damascus handles. The handle is milled for relief. Also first time cutting a nail nick with a stone. I did several practice runs and no problems, then the edge chipped out while cutting this one :12:

Thanks Wade and James. I just wanted to try something a little different this go around. The damascus didn't add near as much weight as I expected. I would keep trimming and contouring the handle until the weight was down. I honestly don't think you would notice difference until you had a normal slip joint in your hand. My brother in law carries it in his pocket every day with no complaints.

Very nice, different for sure , will you ever do a complete pocket knife out of Damascus? Again very nice.

Thanks Knife Nut,
I only plan on doing 2 more slip joints, for now. I am working on learning liner locks and have plans to do some of them completely out of damascus depending on the weight.
