Usually when I post it is as a maker. This time however,I am proud and excited to be posting as a collector
!
To mark my turning 50 this past June,I decided my gift to myself would be a knife I had long lusted after, one of Dave's feather damascus bowies with amber stag, penny guard, and of course Dave's signiture hot chiseled buttcaps in the form of an indian chief.
The only other request I had was a touch of copper to tie the sheath into, which of course I had to make myself!
Needless to say it had to go to Coop for a bit of his magic after the sheath was made,so without further delay, here she is!
Dave thank you very much for a fantastic knife that I will treasure for a long time to come, and thank you Coop for showing the world how nice this one really is!
