I made some like these for chrismas presents, but I just wrapped twine on the handles to save time. They are all getting used so I get to see how there holding up. They are holding a good edge, but I won't do wraped handles any more.
They are forged from a big truck coil spring that was brand new. the handles are ebony, sambar stag, buffalo horn and my knife is imatation stag. They are a little crude, Im still trying to perfect this design. I was inspiried by waching Don Fogg, Bob Kramer, and Joe Keeslar's demonstrations at the hammer-in. Thanks guys.
