So today started as just another Thursday for us. It was one of Mia's treatment days and we had something special planned for the kids at the hospital. The night before Mia and I got together a large bag of special necklaces. (A special someone gave Mia a huge box of "Mardi Gras style necklaces at Blade Show") So we saved some for Mia and took some to share, and it was Mia's idea. So when we get there she started passing out the necklaces and they were a BIG hit with all the kids, doctors, and nurses.
Then it was time for the therapy dog
And then the even bigger surprise came! When we got there they were doing a radio phone a thon in the lobby. They came up to the clinic and asked a few of the kids and parents to come down. Mia got to be on the radio and she was supposed to tell the phone number to call when she was queued, but she told everyone that she slept in daddy's bed last night. She was so cute and had a ball. She did great today and now we are home resting. The news was also there filming but we are not sure if Mia was in any of the shots or not.
