4" ATS34 blade, top of the blade is rounded, stright clip, a guard and a bird head to keep your hand where it belongs. And a little extra file work, bolsters and redwood handle. The blade has 1000 grit finish that runs length ways and is picking up the reflection of the brown paper that the knife is setting on.

Art you just keep knocking it out of the park. Only change I would make it to have it at 3 1/2 inch blade. Beautiful work.

Mike, you are right, they do look good in 3.5" too, but I do like the look of this 4" unit.
Art's work needs to be seen and held to be appreciated, nothing again your pics Art,
but they are truly a pleasure in hand IMHO. Dozier

Really I like a 3" blade the best, but if I was going to be out hunting for a week think I'd take a 4" blade and a hunting axe.
 
You talking about the tutorial on my bolsters on FB knifeDogs ? If so, glad you like it, just trying to help.
 
I want to say, your little touches like the filework, and the curves on the guard and bolster really add a lot without being gaudy. It's a beautiful piece with plenty of custom features, but not "busy" or overwhelming to the eye. Plus you started with a very sensible, practical design in the first place.

Outstanding work, sir. I salute you!

EDIT: also, your mosaic pins line up. It drives me batty when I see cockeyed mosaic pins!!
