My Youngest Son joins me in the shop.

My 14 year old Sam joined me in the shop yesterday and started his first knife,A little Wild River Saber Tooth.We will heat treat in the morning and he can finish the grind.

This boy has been my constant companion since he was born,he has played around at the forge in the past but never had the patience to do more than pound hot steel flat.I bought him some 01 of his own and told him when he felt the urge let me know and I would help him .When he walked out in the shop and pulled his steel out of the bin I dropped everything and got him started.It was a good day !
