New denim handle material and new knife design

I'm calling this knife the "Explorer" I played around with a ladder pattern on some of the last batch of denim.

They are 440C with a machine satin finish
3 3/4" blade 8 3/8 OAL
The black one is sold the blue one is available 175.00
 
Great looking knife. Looks like it would be a great woods knife.

Thanks for the comments. They are certainly meant to be at home in the woods. I put all the same features in them as my Whitetail hunter knives.

The blade is for skinning and the high drop point excellent for field dressing. The point is in line with the butt of the handle for smacking the point through a pelvic bone. Plenty enough belly in the blade to split a rib cage.

Cliff, great looking knives. I really like the black micarta scales. They look like good EDC's as well as hunter/skinners. Denny
