Friday night was our meet and greet. We fried a turkey and Steve Janik brought some Salmon and we fried that up too..

I should have taken more pictures but for not really doing anything Friday, we were all pretty busy...

Here is the turkey frying..

Our turkey fry tent ended up across the street wrecked from a thunder storm that passed through in the early evening. We set up in the empty lot next to us to fry it.

forging class gets started

Mrs.Bossdog and Raj Singh, president of Eagle Grips showing us the new line of Kirinite handle material we will start stocking soon. Raj made it a point to come to the hammer in and bring a box of samples to hand out.
We should be seeing some knives with this material on showing up here soon.

Forging. We have 6 different video cameras filming the whole thing so we should have several hours of video posted here over the next several weeks as we go through editing..

Here is some sample Kirinite, a brand new to the market gun handle and knife handle material we will be carrying soon.

Les chucked up a piece of metal in a portable drill and then runs it against the disc grinder when it turns as a poor man's lathe to make round parts.
