Some of the knives ive done

HELLGAP

Dealer - Purveyor
Im still a rookie but have learnt alot since I started last dec 15 will be 1 year. My last knife is the jigged buffalow horn made of cpm154 rc61 with my own mosaic pins and sheath from 7/8 oz veg tan leather saddle stitched with a border stamp pattern. The blade is free hand hollow ground with a convex edge . I think it might split hairs after I sharpened it on a paper wheel system. I love the ulu ive started to make. Kellyw

I did the damascus kitchen knives out of suriname snakewood , the big one cracked and I dont know why. I am super gluing the handle . I coulda used epoxy but I think the super glue might be better. I wonder if the heat from sanding caused it to crack. My first time using it, and it costs lots. I never made the damascus but hope to learn how soon. kellyw

Nice Work HellGap on all of them. I hear them gut-hook knives are tricky. Nice filework2thumbs

Gut hook knives take alot more time its all hand file work . Some guys only sharpen one side like a wedge. I do both sides so when you gut a deer and pull it doesnt side track and keep your hook area large so hair wont build up . I dont like doing them but ive made 5 and sold them all as fast as ive made them .
