LOL!!! some of these cracked me up!!

and wow they are so true they hurt!!!

-knifemaking is a very simple process, until you try explaining it to someone
-you always have money until you find good deal on something you really want, somehow the money is gone!
-"there is only a very small chance something bad could happen, if I followed all safety rules nothing will get done"... BAMM!!
 
Just one more gentle tap to seat the handle of this hidden tang.... snap! Now its time to start over and salvage what you can.
Or a antler handle is a great idea till you try to press it on the tang and the tines of the antler dont match up with the press.
Some things arent a good choice for salvaging a blade from. That little black spot that won't sand out of the blade is a weak spot I have discovered.
