Dad found a box of my grandfather's folding knives this morning. All the usual suspects are there, including 2 Buck 110's. But one of them has the name upside down. ??? knockoff?
Buck, Buck, Puma, Craftsman
Linerlocking slipjoint Schrade
Sodbuster Jr with 8dots. That means 80's production, right? Anyway, I have since cleaned this one up and sharpened it, and it's going to ride in my left-front for a while.
Another Buck 301, to go with the other that dad gave me last year.
Big 2-bladed Western 062. The lack of a letter after the model should mean that this one is Pre-1973
5" bladed Camillus 9. I keep being drawn to this knife more than any other from the box. It makes me smile to know that over 13 years ago, my Papaw sharpened this knife by hand, and it is still shaving sharp with his own edge on it.
The whole box, minus some Frost and other cheapies...
