Some of you have commented that I need to post more pictures of knives I have completed. Honestly I have been so busy I havent taken many pictures. Taking pictures isnt my strong suit anyway, but here goes.
I'm not sure how to classify this knife. It's approx 11" OA with Hickory handle, white micarta, walnut, and tool steel guard. The blade is 440c stainless. ...and a sheath made by me.
This is my first attempt at a hidden tang. I enjoyed the project and I think I will be making more hidden tang knives.
Hope you like it.

Eric, That looks great! Looks like a Hunter to me! :) Nice work and detail on both the knife and the sheath!

God Bless

You guys are too kind. I do enjoy the leatherwork...it's fun and challenging. Thanks for the encouragement!

That actually is a Rossi .44 Mag that I hunt deer with here in Indiana. I've owned several lever guns over the years and have liked them all, but they had no prctical use for me because high power rifles are not permitted to hunt deer. The DNR allows rifles chambered for handgun cartridges, so I set out to get a rifle to hunt with. A buddy of mine owns a Ruger Deerfield in .44 mag that I tried to wrestle away from him, but he wont budge. (but he doesnt use it either) I found this Rossi hanging on the wall at a local gun shop while I was purchasing a S&W 1911 (at a considerable price) and asked them to make a deal due to the cost of the pistol. I got a good deal on a fine shooting rifle...and I think it looks good as well. Thanks for noticing!
