What are you listening to?

Funny when I finally got a decent stereo I was amazed how good the music was in some recordings changed my whole out look.

I've sat in many newer digital recording studios as well, (worked on numerous projects etc.).. which are a dime a dozen. There's just no comparison to the vintage audio gear. The newer media is just cheaper, easier and more convenient. The sound quality in those old studios and recordings is unequalled and anything since then just seems to be going downhill.

My hearing just isn't that good.
I have old Citation tube amp my father inlaw built in the '50s and a pair of A-7s , never got them going maybe someday.
Lot of bang for your buck with vintage gear.

Bach died before he could finish, the last contrapunctus of Bach.

Probably the best thing about the newer technology is that it has helped level the playing field and opened the doors for a lot of artists, who otherwise couldn’t have gotten their feet in.

The sacrifice has been very high though.

Listening to Best Of Bobby darrin , Using and old teac tuner and a 300 watt Marshall amp . Big big bass sound .

only the Blues...Pandora Contemporary Blues channel right now, it could also be sky.fm Modern Blues or when driving XM Blues channel 70

Parkway Drive will get me through the holiday crunch. Hollering along with Winston is going to add some gravel to my ho ho ho by the time I'm caught up.

Christmas music! it always starts early and is permutated by horrible renditions!

My wife gave one of my Christmas presents to me early so I could enjoy it before Christmas.
