El Jefe Dog, nice thread, I've been watching this one with interest. I don't use propane ( not yet, but propane is a hundred years old now, getting close enough for me) but , my neighbors at NC Tool make a nice line of forges. They are a farrier supply house with employees that also make knives and also cater to Blacksmith Artists that use big iron (they make a 12 burner forge)
I have used this forge at a Artist Smiths shop and it is very versatile.

Being an open forge guy, cylinder type forges seem very confining to me so I like the design of the front that opens, if that makes sense. Understandable this design would not be as fuel efficient as the more traditional knife forge, ( closed with a small opening) IMHO a 'smith that plays with more than blades may find the offset in fuel worthwhile, as opposed too having two dedicated forges.
They also carry a really neat smaller anvil called "Bigface" that I slobber over. It has a lot of Blacksmith anvil accessories built in it and at a decent price.
