Hello all - just a couple of photos to show a new tool rest I made today.

This image shows the mounting of tool rest with Platen in normal vertical position.

This image shows tool rest with grinder in the horizontal position. This gives a a nice straight position for straight line grinding. The corner wheels are 3" longboard wheels and make good contact grinding wheels. The corners are nicely radiused to fit the wheels for good grinding inside curves.

BTW, Just the show how smooth this direct drive grinder runs this image shows a nickel balanced on edge with belt speed at 4,000 SFPM, and nickel still holding steady. Pardon me for bragging a bit, but darn it - I'm tickled pink with this grinder
