Here is a pin press I built yesterday.
Boss dog has a wip/ tutorial on making one of these on his personal website.
I havent got to use it yet but hope to soon.

Very cool and looks simple and straightfoward. Would also like to see it in use. Sorry missed this one:)
 
Nice! I think this will be my next project while waiting on my kydex press supplies.
 
I really like the pin press. I am going to try to get my nephew to weld one up for me. I own a welder, but can not weld! How wierd is that?
 
Nice job Shank, now put some wear marks on that baby and show us the results.:)

Works great Tracy. Thanks for posting the how to build wip.

Its quieter and less chance of hitting something you dont want to hit.
Both sides of the pins get smashed better now.
I have a knife almost finished that I used the press on . Not a trace of the pins showing in the guard so its workin good.
 
So you guy's are using the pin press instead of peening the pins? I would like to see pics of it in use I have some ideas about this I have several presses where I work and was looking at the one you built I really like the small one.
